Enrolling in one of our programs is the first step to making the most of your summer here at Penn. Each Penn Summer program has a unique enrollment or application process, so please read the guide below for all of the information you need to get started.

If you are a current Penn student, go directly to Path@Penn to register for online courses.

If you are an incoming first-year student at Penn, you must complete and submit the Penn First-year Registration Form available below, and submit a copy of your Penn acceptance letter. Advisor approval is required on the form; no other supporting documentation is required. Once the form is submitted and your record is set up, you will receive an email confirmation with information regarding the registration process.

If you are a current undergraduate from another institution, a Penn employee, or a working professional, you can enroll in Penn Summer Sessions as a visiting student using our online application system. Although you must complete and submit the application form, you do not need to include standardized test scores or letters of recommendation. There is a non-refundable application fee of $50. 

Please note, applicants who have not completed college-level course work are required to submit a copy of their high school transcript with their graduation date or a copy of their high school diploma.

Applicants are required to be in good academic and disciplinary standing at their home institution. The recommended minimum GPA is 3.0.
